This policy explains how Ventros ("we") handles information when you use Cognys. By using Cognys you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account details — your email address and basic profile when you sign up or sign in with Google.
- Your content — messages, prompts, files and images you send, and the answers Cognys produces.
- Usage information — counts of messages, images and research reports, used to apply daily limits.
- Memory — preferences you allow Cognys to remember. These are stored on your device and can be exported or wiped in Settings.
How we use it
- To provide answers, search the web, generate images and build research reports you ask for.
- To keep your account secure and apply plan limits fairly.
- To send account emails and occasional product updates. Every update email has an unsubscribe link.
We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers
To answer your requests, your messages are processed by AI model providers (such as Google Gemini) and a web search provider. We use hosting and database providers to store your account, and an email provider to send emails. They process data only to deliver the service.
Your choices
- Use Cognys as a guest without creating an account.
- Clear chats and memories from the app at any time.
- Unsubscribe from product emails using the link in any email.
- Delete your account and associated data from Account & data.
Retention
We keep your account data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove it and its stored files.
Children
Cognys is not intended for children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy. We will change the date above when we do.
